Summit Instruments’ Triaxial Rate Gyros (31206B and 31207B) are capable of sensing angular rate around three orthogonal axes. They feature offset stability better than ±6°/sec over the entire -40°C to +85°C industrial temperature range. Measurements are corrected internally for temperature variations, making external corrections unnecessary in most applications.

Choice of Rotational Rate Ranges
Our triaxial rate gyros are available in multiple rate ranges to cover a variety of applications. 31206B can be ordered with rate ranges of ±50, ±150, ±300, or ±600, and 31207B can be ordered with rate ranges of ±1000 or ±1200°/sec. These models feature a wide 100 Hz bandwidth. If your application requires other operating parameters, please feel free to contact us. Our rate gyros are available as a Tailored Solution for volume applications.

Built-in Calibration and Self-Test
NIST calibration with certificate is included with these triaxial models. Built-in self-test verifies proper sensor operation and wiring connections.

High Accuracy and Linearity Over Wide Temperature Range
The voltage output for each of the three axes is directly proportional to the rotational rate along that axis. Each DC-coupled output is fully scaled, referenced, and temperature compensated.

Small Size
Complete conditioned triaxial rate gyro in less than a cubic inch.

Suitable for Harsh Environments
These sensors are robust and can be used in harsh environments. The units will survive 2000 g powered and unpowered.

Built-in Power Regulation
Unregulated power from +8.5 to +36 Volts is all that is required to power our rate gyros.

Three Year Warranty
Summit Instruments’ triaxial rate gyros are covered by a three year return to factory warranty. Extended warranties are available.
