Advantages of Summit Instruments' Analog Rate Gyros (Angular Rate Sensors):

Summit Instruments is proud of our Rate Gyros. Models measure rotation rate ranges from ±50°/sec up to ±600°/sec or ±1200°/sec for different application needs. An especially rugged and accurate uniaxial rate gyro is now available in a low rate (±50 to ±600°/sec) version, and triaxial models are available in both high rate (±1000 and ±1200°/sec) and low rate versions. Summit Instruments’ rate gyros are built to customer specifications so you can get the exact configuration required for your measurements. Our standard three-year warranty is included.

Interchangeable Model for High Volume Use
If your application calls for quantities of sensors large enough to make keeping track of calibration values for each sensor a concern, the 11206A is the answer. With standardized offsets and gains, this rate gyro allows for convenient interchangeability of individual sensors.

High Accuracy and Linearity over Wide Temperature Range
The output of our rate gyros is directly proportional to the rotational rate about their axes. The DC-coupled output is fully scaled, referenced, and temperature compensated. When used in demanding temperature environments, the 11206A is one of the most accurate rate gyros available.

Rugged Aluminum Housing
Our rate gyros are packaged in precision-machined rugged aluminum housings designed to operate in the -40°C to +85°C temperature range.

Choice of Rotational Rate Ranges
Multiple rate ranges are available to cover a variety of applications. Model 11206AC can be ordered with rate ranges of ±50, ±180, ±300 or ±600°/sec, 31206B can be ordered with rate ranges of ±50, ±150, ±300, or ±600, and model 31207B can be ordered with rate ranges of ±1000 or ±1200°/sec. All models feature a wide 100 Hz bandwidth.
