New Products
Extended Capability Inertial Measurement System: 65210E Series
Summit Instruments proudly announces the introduction of a new Data Acquisition System - TM Kit. Additional flexibility is a key feature of the 65210E, which is based on technologies developed for the Standard Inertial Measurement System (65210A Series).

The 65210E includes optional internal inertial sensors (accelerometers and gyros) and the capability to integrate external sensors and signals. External inputs are accommodated by small Signal Conditioning Modules. Four module slots are available allowing the user to measure up to 16 signal channels through a combination of internal and external sensors. An internal transmitter telemeters data in a single IRIG-106 PCM stream. Signal conditioning modules for strain gages, accelerometers, load cells, and pressure sensors, as well as analog voltages or currents are currently available and more are in development.

Triaxial Rate Gyro
Summit Instruments is proud to introduce a new line of sensors, the Triaxial Rate Gyro. These gyros are housed in a rugged one-inch aluminum cube for accurate measurements in a small package. Based on MEMS technology, the gyros measure up to ±600°/sec (31206A) or ±1200°/sec (31207A) with less than ±6°/sec drift over temperature.

Measurements are corrected internally for temperature variations, making external corrections unnecessary in most applications. A NIST calibration certificate is available in order to correct for sensor misalignment in high accuracy applications.
