SOFTWARE UPDATES

Summit Instruments's ICU (Instrument Configuration Utility) is a Windows-based software program designed to make configuration of Summit Instruments' Digital Accelerometers and Inertial Measurement Systems easy. The software provides an easy way to set sensor ranges and gains, configure telemetry output, and change telemetry transmitter frequencies (65210 series only). Calibration and self-test functions are also available in this software package.

ICU's real-time monitoring and built-in data acquisition to spreadsheet compatible files make it easy to spot problems and analyze captured data. The data acquisition rate is limited by the performance of the computer running ICU. Faster computers can process continuous data at 115K BAUD and above. CRC-16 error checking is used when communicating with instruments to ensure setting and data integrity.

System Requirements and Installation:
Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP Compatibility
1. Download ICU2_15.exe to a temporary directory
2. Run ICU2_15.exe to uncompress the installation files
3. If previously installed, uninstall previous version of ICU
4. Run setup.exe to install ICU
